No Boundaries. Just Labels.

It was a BIG 2.9 version of me. So cool that you guys came over. It would not have been as much fun without you. Those that were here at the start will be here forever. Growing up, my parents never gave me as much as I wanted for my birthday - no fancy toys nor a trip to Disneyland. The only thing I knew is that I was born with endless possibilities and to embrace life at its finest. Thank you God for adding another year to my life. Help me to make the best decisions in the world. Thanks for a year of hanging tough with me. Raise your glass!
Air kisses to everybody!

Is It Goodbye From Here?

I hate it but I don't have a choice. I love being here but and the people around me. But still, thank you for the memories and the wisdom. I will forever cherish this 'til the last moment of my life.

Adios GCT c109.1!

Finally!

It's been 10 months the last time I blogged. I have all the reasons why and it's a choice. I hope 2010 will be a great year for me and do updatings every now and then. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, everyone!

The 81st Academy Awards: MY Insights & Review

It was far from the usual Academy that I've watched for years. AMPAS made the right choice when they chose Hugh Jackman as the host for the biggest movie event of the year. Hugh brought new spices in the table. It was beyond my knowledge that he really could sing & dance. The opening number concluded all the movies of 2008 and it was perfectly done. Hands down to them.

The much anticipated stage design fulfilled me. It was so appealing in the eyes with the screens so wide and on how they gave honor to the past Oscar winners as presentors.

Sarah Jessica Parker's appearance in the Academy after 20 years thrilled me. Gee! she is still the goddess and my greatest guilty pleasure actress on the small screen. Dame Meryl Streep and her daughter were there as expected. The a-list couple BrAngelina stole the red carpet. They are such a perfect hollywood duo! The ever beatiful Penelope Cruz turned heads with her white coutured gown just like Anne Hatthaway who made a dazzling entrance on the red carpet & changed her clothes during the opening with Hugh. The entire cast of the most-awarded Slumdog Millionaire from Bollywood [India] were there.

Beyonce, Hugh, Zac & Vanessa and the lead cast of Mama Mia rendered a breath-taking theatrical intermission number summing up all the musical movies in the present era. Truly, it was a "NIGHT" of glits and glamour in Hollywood.

Kate & Sean concluded the night bringing the lead awards - the Actor & Actress in the leading role. Winning is yet better than losing as Kate told the press. Sean, on the other hand, gave not just a good acting but justice to the gay community in the movie "Milk" who also won the Best Screenplay". I was so impressed with everyone's overwhelming emotions during that night. It was HUGE!

Really, the 81st Academy Awards was a celebration not just to the winners but to the whole movie community all over the world. It's one way of paying off the hardships for the past year. And being recognized in the Academy is much like winning in a reality show.

Kudos to AMPAS!
